DIY Gift Box From a Christmas Card

Use your leftover Christmas cards from last year to create fun little gift boxes for Christmas this year! This works with any size card and is a great way to use up any leftover cards.  It's also a great reuse for Christmas cards that you have received.  Sometimes I receive Christmas cards that are so beautiful that I just can't stand the thoughts of throwing them out.  I also don't want to just toss them into a drawer to be forgotten.  This way I can revamp them into boxes to use for gift giving or storing some of my Christmas wrapping supplies such as tags and bows. 

But don't think that you are limited to Christmas with this recycle craft.  Use birthday cards to create birthday gift boxes, wedding invitations as a gift box for the 1 year anniversary gift or bridal shower invitations for the wedding gift... any occasion at all.  Wouldn't it be precious to use baby announcements or shower invitations for baby's first gift.  The possibilities are endless!!
