Punch Art Gumdrops

DIY Gift Box From a Christmas Card

Use your leftover Christmas cards from last year to create fun little gift boxes for Christmas this year! This works with any size card and is a great way to use up any leftover cards.  It's also a great reuse for Christmas cards that you have received.  Sometimes I receive Christmas cards that are so beautiful that I just can't stand the thoughts of throwing them out.  I also don't want to just toss them into a drawer to be forgotten.  This way I can revamp them into boxes to use for gift giving or storing some of my Christmas wrapping supplies such as tags and bows. 

But don't think that you are limited to Christmas with this recycle craft.  Use birthday cards to create birthday gift boxes, wedding invitations as a gift box for the 1 year anniversary gift or bridal shower invitations for the wedding gift... any occasion at all.  Wouldn't it be precious to use baby announcements or shower invitations for baby's first gift.  The possibilities are endless!!

Framed Nativity Scene Christmas Card

Similar to last year's tag, but this time on a card.  This time I also show you a simpler way to create this Nativity Scene using decorative glitter card stock to instantly give the look of our night sky without all the ink blending and embossing that was involved in the tag.  So, even if you don't have all of those inking and embossing supplies, you can still create this beautiful card.

These fun shaker ornaments for your Christmas tree are quick & easy using die cuts.  Inside, I chose some silver and white sequins from a Walmart Sequin Spangle Mix along with some white and clear seed beads and bugle beads from The Dollar Tree.
