Alternative Blending Medium for Colored Pencils

I found a much cheaper alternative for blending colored pencils!  Colored pencils have always been my choice of coloring medium.  However, I was never happy with the "scratchy" look that was left on the finished piece.  By blending with this "solution", using paper blending stumps, I'm able to get a very smooth and blended result.

Punch Art Reindeer

Did you think I was done with the egg shaped dies??  I'm not!!  Here's another use for them in this adorable Christmas Reindeer.  I used leaf shaped die cuts for his ears and branches for his antlers.  I think the ovals for his eyes help to give him a lot of character.  You could use round die cuts if you like, or even googly eyes would be cute.  I used an oval rhinestone for his nose but you could also use an oval die cut or punch.  The possibilities are only limited by your imagination.  Get Craftie and see shat other ideas you can come up with for a punch art reindeer.

Apple Table Setting

Here's another super-simple table setting for you.  I think this cute little apple would be cute for a dessert table for Thanksgiving or any Fall gathering.  Even use these at Halloween for a "bobbing for apples" vibe.  These would be great for a Farm or Country theme.  You could even add in some green and yellow ones for different varieties of apples.  They would be perfect for teachers, or any school-themed occasion.  You could use these for any party theme that showcased an apple in its storyline, such as Snow White, Twilight, etc.  Let me know what theme you would use an apple with.
