Eggs Die Set Contest Winners!

   

Thanks so much to everyone who participated in my Eggs Die Set Contest.  I asked for suggestions on other ways to use my egg shaped dies and I loved your responses!  I may do more of these contest giveaways in the future.  I think they're a lot of fun!

Christmas Dome Wine Glass Ornament

I made this Christmas Dome Tree Ornament from a disposable wine glass from Dollar Tree.  With a pack of these from Dollar Tree, you can make a whole set of ornaments super cheap!  I used a wooden disc for the bottom, but you could use anything from cardstock to scrap packaging... anything you want.  Inside, glue any little trinkets you choose to build your scene.  I chose a tree and deer.  And, of course, you need to add some artificial snow.

Punch Art Frogs

Sometimes, when creating "punch art" I will use die cut shapes as well as punches.  But, these guys were made from all punches in round and oval shapes.  I had so much fun with these adorable little frogs.  You can use punched circles for the eyes OR replace them with googly eyes for a little more fun.  You can also add a tongue, as I did in one of mine.  Just have fun with it!

Eggs Die Set Contest

I have had sooo much fun with my egg shaped dies!  They have really proven to be very versatile and have become one of my most favorite die sets.  So far I have used them to create Punch Art Balloons, Punch Art Christmas Lights, and Punch Art Avocados.  

So here's a little Christmas-in-July surprise for you guys.  I thought I would have a little contest to see who can come up with some new ideas for my egg shaped dies.  But we don't have much July left for Christmas in July, so this contest is only going to last a few days.  

Do you have any new and unique punch art or other ideas of what could be created using the egg as the main shape?  If so, I'd love to hear your ideas!

I purchased my egg dies very inexpensively through eBay and I'll put that link down below.  Also, for those of you who prefer shopping with Amazon, or don't like the long wait usually involved when shopping with eBay, I have added this set to my Amazon store as well.  However, this particular set of dies was less expensive through eBay.  I do my best to find you all the best deal possible.  Personally, I don't mind the wait with eBay and usually buy my dies through them.
