Mundane Morning ~ Fairy Crafts

Good Mundane Morning Crafties!  It's that time of year when I start dreaming of Fall.  The heat of Summer just gets to be too much for me and I long for the chill of October in the air, a big cozy sweater, and a mug full of hot apple cider.  I always get anxious for Fall when July comes.  So, I get anxious for Fall crafting as well!  It's difficult for me to choose a most favorite season.  Fall is so cozy and the colors of the leaves are simply gorgeous!  Winter is a magical wonderland that's all about Christmas and miracles!  Spring is an explosion of life and color!  So how can I pick a favorite?  However, I do know that my LEAST favorite is Summer, hands down.  The sweltering heat, the snakes, the overgrowth of weeds... Ugghhh!  I love, love, love to spend time outdoors.  But these days I just can't tolerate the Summer heat as well as I used to.  I find myself staying in with the air conditioning more often than not.  So, I have decided to (whenever possible) stay inside in the cool, pretend that the world is that cool temperature for real, and work on some Fall crafting!  I do have a few more Summer craft ideas to get out there to you guys.  But within the next 2 to 3 weeks, I really want to start putting out some Fall videos.  I have a lot planned for Fall, and even more for Winter/Christmas.  I'm concerned of getting them all done in time before the season is gone.  Some of them I've carried over from last year because I didn't get time to do everything that I had planned.  I really don't want that to happen again this year.  There is one Christmas craft in particular that I didn't get to do last year and I really want to do it this year!  It's one that I've actually been wanting to create for several years now for my home, even before I had a YouTube channel or blog.  It's very meaningful to me and I really want to bring this idea to life this year.  When I do, it will probably have to be done in a series of videos.  One more item to order and I think I'll be ready to start on it..

Meanwhile... Coming this week, you can expect to see some more fairy themed crafts.  I just can't get enough of fairies and fairyland!  I have three videos coming this week for you, all with a fairyland theme... actually all focusing on the same element of the fairyland theme.๐Ÿ„  I really like them and I hope you guys will too.

I'm also still trying to gather supplies for paper crafting.  Although I did do quite a bit of scrapbooking in years past, I still feel like somewhat of a newbie to paper crafting.  I never did get into card making and other paper crafts.  So, I kinda feel like I need to do a little bit of independent experimenting before I just start throwing videos out there.  So, if you guys have any tips or advice to offer, I'm listening!  My ultimate goal in paper crafting is to create my own Christmas cards to send out this year to friends and family.  I've always wanted to do that, but the furthest I got was printing a few personalized things onto the store-bought cards.  I would so love to completely create them myself!  I think that would make them so much more special. ๐Ÿ˜Š

And on the craftroom front, my new craftroom is coming along, slowly but surely.  I definitely have more crafting space than I have ever had.  It's all a mixed up jumble of different wood tones of furniture that has been repurposed from other rooms.  But I'm okay with that!  Like I said, it's more crafting space than I've ever had, so I'll take what I can get.  To be honest, I don't think I will be able to finish all of the shelving projects and everything that I had planned for my craft room.  Not this year anyway.  I have a LOT of plans for that room, so I guess it's gonna take a LOT of time to get it all accomplished.

Don't forget yo check in with me next Mundane Morning to see what's going on then. Also, log on every Wednesday afternoon for my Friendsday Afternoon blog post featuring a new Craftie that has been inspiring to me.

Until next time friends, stay Craftie! ๐Ÿ˜‰
