Am I a redneck woman?..... Yeah, maybe a little. lol. I'll show you how I made a charm from a spent bullet casing. This spent bullet casing was from my first target practice when my husband bought me my first handgun as a birthday gift a couple years ago. This year, I'm celebrating my birthday by turning that bullet casing into a colorful and sparkly jewelry charm. Who says redneck women can't be girly too? Right? lol. Really all I had to add was one teardrop bead to replace the slug. For my redneck side, I made this for myself for my upcoming birthday, but... this would be good for Father's Day too! ;-) ...to commemorate a target practice session like I did, or a successful hunt, or just to celebrate a love of marksmanship. I used a 10mm x 14mm colorized faceted teardrop bead in place of the slug in my .380 bullet casing. This is easy to adjust. Just try different sizes of teardrop beads until you find what fits, depending on the caliber of your bullet.

Cupcake Bead Charm
I'm celebrating my upcoming birthday by making myself a cupcake.... bead charm! I used my new favorite tool, the Dremel, to modify embellishments and create a custom birthday bead charm. Let me show you how I did it.

Vintage Rose Necklace Pendant
This vintage-inspired necklace pendant is an elegant accessory for any occasion. Antique brass, pink roses, and pearls are elements that I think will never go out of style.

Rainbow Flowers Experiment
I've always wanted to try these Rainbow Flowers! What a fun experiment this was!! Do you think it was a success? Could I have done something differently for a better outcome?? Let me know. I had hoped for much more vibrant color... Either way, I really LOVED this project! Not all crafts that we attempt will turn out exactly the way we imagined it would. But it's not only the crafting "successes" that I enjoy. I greatly appreciate the experimentation process. This is what I have to share with you here, an experiment. I call it that because it did not turn out exactly how I wanted it to. I hoped for brighter color, but I do think they are very pretty. Tell me what you think... Was this project a success or a failure??

Prom Napkin Folding
I'll show you how I made these prom dress and tuxedo napkin folds. They are so easy! These are perfect for any prom party. You can personalize the dress by changing up the napkin color, or have many different colors so there's a match for every girl attending! And a simple matching bow embellishment for the bow tie on the tux ties it all together.

Graduation Table Setting
This is the perfect table setting for any high school or college graduation party. It's super-quick, super-simple, and cute as can be! I created the graduation cap with a black plastic bowl and square black paper plate with a candy tassel. The diploma is simply a rolled white napkin with utensils inside, tied with a red satin ribbon. Couldn't be easier!

Graduation Bead Charms
These charms are the perfect gift for a high school or college graduate. Just a few simple beads and some string are all you'll need. I'll show you three different versions. #1: My first idea was to create a graduation cap. #2: I then added a wooden bead for the head. #3: The thought process continued until I finally added a black flower bead as the graduation gown for a complete graduate! The third is my favorite. Which one is your favorite? My favorite element in all of them, though, is the tiny tassel! 😍

In my video below, I'll show you how I created this miniature love potion bottle. What a cute accessory for Valentine's Day or any time of year! And as a viewer brought to my attention, this would also be great for Halloween! Thank you Harper! Halloween is a great idea and sparked another thought for Halloween as well. So, look for that new idea this Fall! 😉
