Craft-a-Flower Daisies

 

If you've been following me for very long at all, you know that I LOVE die cutting and I had a blast with this Craft-a-Flower Daisy die set from Altenew.  I used lots of fun, colorful patterned papers for my Daisies to turn them into Gerbera Daisies.  You could also use solid colored cardstocks, or cut them all from white.  In white you could color them individually with copic markers, watercolor markers, ink blending, or leave them white for beautiful Shasta Daisies.  Another idea would be to use yellow cardstock with brown centers for Sunflowers or Black-Eyed Susans.  There are so many flower variations you could come up with using this die set.  So, raid your paper stash and let’s craft some daisies.

Punch Art Fishies

 

These fun little fishies are so easy and this is just a tiny glimpse of all the different ways you could create a fish.  I used a teardrop shaped tree top die for the body, but you could use a leaf, teardrop/raindrop shape, and so much more.  Just use your imagination and get Craftie!

Washcloth Fish ~ Guest Room Decor

 

These washcloth fishies are not only adorable for your guest bathroom, but they are useful for your guests as well because we're keeping everything in tact without using glue or anything that would ruin the usability of the cloth or the soap.  The googly eyes are adhered with just a foam sticky tab and the tail fins are bound with a simple rubber band.  Both of which are easily removeable without damage to the washcloth or the soap inside.  This way the guests can use them on their stay.  Inside I used a Dove Beauty Bar but any oval shaped soap will do to make the fishy shape.  These are simple and inexpensive to create.  I think little washcloth critters and such add an extra touch to the guest room and just give something fun to your guests using the bathroom essentials that you would have available to your guests anyway.
