Duckie Party Plate ~ Barnyard Critter Plates ~ Party Decor

 

This duckie party plate couldn't be simpler.  He's the next in my line of Critter Plates, Barnyard Edition.  Much like punch art, these critter plates are just a matter of arranging shapes and colors to create fun animals for your child's birthday party, a baby shower, or other event.  So simple and so much fun!  Wouldn't it be fun to create an identical punch art image for your party invitations? Piggy Place Setting ~ Barnyard Critter Plates ~ Party Decor

 

This pink piggy was my first idea for cute critter party plates which sparked many more ideas.  My imagination ran wild with this one and I have so many ideas from farm animals to buggy critters and more.  Look for them all in my upcoming series of videos for more critter plates.  My place settings use elements you would already be purchasing for party decor such as plates, napkins, utensils, cups, straws, party favors, and sweet treats.  I just arrange them in a way that helps create your fun theme.  I love to create fun and whimsical party decor using inexpensive disposables to make clean up quick and easy for busy moms.  No need to commit to washing dishes all night after the event; Spend more time enjoying the occasion and your guests.

The Easter Bunny place setting is even easier for the view from behind and that cotton tail is too cute!!  Use any "fluffy" sweet treat of your choice for the tail: a snowball cake, a frosted sugar cookie, a cupcake, even a fluff of cotton candy would be adorable.  Get creative and let me know what you come up with!

2021 Review

 

Thanks for another Craftie year! Through the changes and challenges of the world, still.. we craft! I don't know about you but crafting is therapeutic for me. I've gone from a free spirited kid at home to a wife and mother, from a stay-at-home-mom to an empty nester, from a homemaker to working outside the home to working from home, and back and forth over again. No matter what else changes in my life, I have always been and will always be a crafter. It's my constant. It's my retreat. It's my outlet, and I'm happy to have all of you to share it with. 18 Christmas Tags from One 12x12 Sheet of Cardstock

 Let's get started early on the Christmas season.. I'm making 18 tags from one 12x12 sheet of cardstock and using my DIY Hole Reinforcers from my last video.  In the video, I show you how I decorated my tags as well, but use any stamps and dies of your choice.  The main idea is to show how I cut my cardstock to get 18 tags from one sheet.  This comes in handy for making your tags in bulk for the season.
